How to register a design or industrial model?

• You may file your request for registration of a design or industrial model with the headquarters of OMPIC in Casablanca, or in the 28 regional chapters. The registration form is available on-line
• You must be a person or entity, resident in Morocco, Moroccan or a foreigner. If you are a non-resident, you must designate an agent domiciled in Morocco.
• The owner of a design or industrial model is generally its creator or his successors in rights; however, the first person to file the said design or industrial model is supposed, until proof to the contrary, to be its creator.
• Your file includes graphic or photographic reproductions in 3 copies, a proxy to your agent, and a short written description, if necessary, making it possible to well identify your design or industrial model.
• You must pay the required fees. (link towards required fees pdf file)
• A request may contain up to 50 designs or industrial models, provided that they be of the same kind, and that they apply to the same category of products.
• When it is registered, it is published by OMPIC in the official catalog of designs or industrial models.
